Unfortunately didn't float my boat. Hot coffee and mugs with no handles. Looked at me gone out when asked how to pick up the mug without burning my fingers. Health and safety field day there.
Wow just wow! After numerous recommendations from friends, I finally had the chance to visit fourteen drops myself. It certainly surpassed expectation.From being greeted on arrival with a warm friendly welcome through to leaving several hours later, absolutely everything is handled with sheer professionalism. The staff are superb, being accommodating and informative.As for the food and wine, the quality & presentation is exceptional.An amazing evening, I will be back again and again - thank you to all at fourteen drops.
Very rarely do I leave a review, however after my experience yesterday, I felt the need to do so.I visited the bar with a friend and sat outside. After a short period of time, we found that we were covered in rust from the barrelled tables.I informed the waitress, who told us that rust is to be expected to come off of the barrels as they were directly from the brewery. Unhappy with this, we raised this issue when paying the bill. We received no apology and were told to use Vanish to remove the marks left on our clothing. To add to the insult, 2.19 was discounted from our bill.This is appalling. The customer service was absolutely abysmal to say the least. I have visited Fourteen Drops on several occasions and will not be returning.
